THE PROBLEM

The reality is that people don't live in a single emotional state. When brands only cater to one mood, they miss the complexity and relatability of everyday life. The beverage aisle is crowded with brands selling the same promise in different colors. How do you create a drink people connect with beyond flavor alone?

THE SOLUTION

Fizzl embraces the full emotional spectrum through character-led packaging, where every can represents a different mood. By giving every can its own emotional alter ego, A flexible character system turns the product range into a cast of personalities, making Fizzl a drink that's as expressive as the people drinking it.

Soft drinks have a personality problem: they don't have one.

Fizzl fixes that by giving every can its own emotional alter ego - because not every day feels the same, and neither should your drink.

THE CHARACTERS

The characters were built from simple, rounded forms, with expression driven primarily through eye direction, eyebrow angles, and exaggerated motuh shapes.  I explored variations in the placement and scale of these features to push each emotion while keeping the underlying character language consistent. The final forms were then simplified into bold, flat colour blocks so the expressions remain instantly readable on the packaging.
